SoftGiken Corporation (President & CEO: Norio Fujita; Established in 1983), a provider of the authentication security solution YubiOn, today announced that its new enterprise service, “YubiOn FIDO2 Server Service,” which enables easy and rapid integration of passkey (FIDO2) authentication into web services and applications, will begin offering automatic credit card billing starting April 2, 2026.

Previously, subscribing to a paid plan required individual inquiries and contract procedures. With this update, users can now complete credit card payments directly from the management console and immediately access all features of the paid plan. As a result, developers and enterprises preparing to launch commercial services can eliminate administrative waiting time and significantly accelerate implementation and release.

Since its launch in September 2025, YubiOn FIDO2 Server Service has been widely used by developers under the concept of enabling the fastest possible passkey implementation. Until now, upgrading from the free plan for small-scale use to a paid plan for commercial deployment required contacting SoftGiken and completing individual contract procedures, which could delay deployment by several days.

However, as cyberattacks have become increasingly sophisticated, implementing passkey authentication has become an urgent priority. To meet the needs of development teams who want to prepare a production environment on the very day they decide to strengthen security, we have decided to automate the administrative process fully. With the introduction of automatic billing, friction from contract to service activation is minimized, making it easier than ever to deploy a globally recognized, secure authentication environment.
