From scattered OS screens to one proper tool
You can set a PIN or enroll a fingerprint from your operating system’s own settings, but the screens differ per OS and never show your key’s status or how many passkey slots are left. YubiOn SecurityKey Manager gives you the same screen on Windows and Mac, covering everything from first-time setup to day-to-day management.
Set and change the PIN
Set a new PIN for your security key or change an existing one. The remaining retry count is shown, so you can act before the key locks itself.
Enroll and manage fingerprints
Enroll fingerprints on biometric keys, give each one a name such as “Right thumb”, and delete individual entries when they are no longer needed.
Your key’s status at a glance
Model name, CTAP version, AAGUID, supported features and remaining passkey storage are listed the moment you plug the key in.
Review and tidy up passkeys
See the passkeys stored on your key grouped by service, and delete the ones you no longer use to free up storage.
A ledger that uses no slots
Give each of your keys a nickname and usage notes. Ledger data is stored on your PC, so no precious passkey slot is consumed.
Setup wizard and learning content
A built-in wizard walks a brand-new key through “set a PIN → enroll a fingerprint → verify it works”, with a glossary and basic training alongside — so even first-time users finish setup without getting lost.
Nothing about your key leaves your PC
Everything read from your key, along with your ledger data, is stored only on your own PC and is never sent to an external server. The only network access is fetching the official FIDO metadata database on first launch.
